Registration Terms and Policies

General

With the exception of the West Virginia weekend events, the photo safaris and photo workshops require walking and carrying your camera gear but no significant physical exertion. During our weekend in West Virginia we scramble over rocky terrain, climb down and up hillsides alongside waterfalls, and hike about one mile roundtrip to a river overlook. The physical exertion is easy to moderate.

You will be asked to sign a hold harmless liability release before any photo workshop begins.

Payment

Payment in full is required at registration for any photo safari.

A deposit of $150 is required at registration for any photo workshop. Payment in full for any photo workshop is required 45 days prior to the event date. If you do not complete payment 45 days prior to the event date, we will attempt to fill the spot you reserved. If and only if we fill your spot, you will receive a refund of your initial deposit minus a $50 handling fee. Payment may be made by credit card via PayPal or by personal check.

Photo workshop fees do not cover food, lodging, or transportation costs.

In submitting your photo safari fee and/or your photo workshop deposit, you acknowledge your understanding of and agreement to the following policies and terms.

We will confirm your registration and receipt of your payment by email.

Cancellations and Refunds for Photo Safaris

We rely on your attendance to make essential arrangements, so if you need to cancel for any reason, you must do so in writing via email at least 5 days before the start date of the photo safari. If notification of cancellation is made less than 5 days before the start date of the photo safari, we will retain the fee paid.

We have the right to cancel and reschedule any photo safari up to 5 days prior to its scheduled start date

There shall be no refund for weather or acts of God that cause delay or cancellation before the start of a photo safari.

Cancellations and Refunds for Photo Workshops

We rely on your attendance to make essential arrangements, so if you need to cancel for any reason, you must do so in writing via email 45 days or more before the start date of the photo workshop. At that time we will refund your deposit, minus a $75 cancellation fee. If notification of cancellation is made 30 to 45 days before the start of a workshop, we will retain the $150 deposit. If notification of cancellation is made less than 30 days before the start of the workshop, we will retain the entire balance paid.

There will be no refund for inclement weather or acts of God that cause delay or cancellation before arrival or during the scheduled workshop. We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur in such circumstances.

Baltimore Photo Safari is not responsible for cancellations due to family or medical emergencies. We highly recommend you check with your insurance agent about travel insurance.

In the event that a workshop must be cancelled due to inadequate enrollment, all deposits and payments are refunded in full or may be transferred to another workshop within 12 months. We are not responsible for reimbursement of other expenses you may incur in the event of a workshop cancellation.
