Saturday, May 21, 2016 … 7:00 to 9:45am SOLD OUT
The early bird may get the worm, but it’s the photographer who captures spectacular images in early morning light. The historic Fells Point neighborhood provides a stunning array of photo ops: marinas full of boats and colorful reflections, magnificent views of the industrial complex and cargo ships across the river, tugboats chugging by, colorful street scenes, architectural detail, historic rowhouses, shop fronts, signs, abstracts, and more.
We meet on the corner of Broadway Pier and Thames Street. After an opening presentation on the how-to of cityscape photography and camera use techniques, we wind our way along the waterfront promenade and through the historic side streets to take advantage of the morning light and the activity of the moment. We explore as many photo opportunities as time and light permit.
Often, it is with poetic license that someone says a person wrote the book on a topic. This is not the case for photographer David Muse who wrote Photographing Baltimore, Annapolis & Maryland’s Eastern Shore (Countryman Press, ISBN: 978-0-88150-960-1). David weaves pro photography tips, hands-on training, and individual attention to each student into every one of his walking photo safaris.
Participants of this photography training class might also enjoy the Evening Twilight in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor classes scheduled throughout the year.
