Saturday, April 22, 2012, 7-10:30am $79 per person
Love spring wildflowers, but can’t make it to Amsterdam’s Keukenhof Gardens this year? Then join me in Sherwood Gardens, Baltimore’s famous tulip garden. The tulips number in the tens of thousands, and their display is stunning. Not only will you find the view beautiful and breath-taking, the opportunities for flower, garden, insect, and macro photography are innumerable.
Schedule
On Saturday we meet at 7am in Sherwood Gardens, where we capture images of the beauty and varied colors of the flowers. I provide hands-on instruction regarding composition, exposure, depth of field, polarizing filters, diffusers and reflectors, and more. We photograph the garden and tulips until we lose the good light; around 10:30am.
Included in this photo safari
The fee covers the morning’s hands-on photography instruction and remarkable photo opportunities. My role as lead instructor is to help you create better images and fill your portfolio, not mine. I do not photograph during this nature event, I teach.
My goal is to help you develop a set of skills and techniques you can use over your lifetime to create images of which you will be proud. To help reinforce the techniques we cover, I provide participants via email a follow-up professional critique of any 3 images shot during this nature session.
I designed this nature photography session for a maximum of 10 participants. A minimum of 2 participants is required.
