Saturday, April 21, 2012, 10am – 3pm $89 per person
If you have been on one of my Inner Harbor photo safaris, you know Baltimore provides a veritable cornucopia of photogenic delights. The city skyline, historic neighborhoods, boats and ships of all shapes and sizes, sparkling twilight reflections, and such beloved icons as the Domino Sugar sign provide a profusion of abstract, artistic, architectural, outdoor, travel, and urban landscape photography possibilities. Broaden your camera sights this year. Come along as we photograph several of the wild, wacky, and uproarious annual events around town.
Ahoy, matey! Thar be pirates about! Let’s plunder the treasure trove of delightful images that abounds during the annual Privateer Day in Fells Point. Shanghai a camera and come capture all the merry mayhem as pirates hold this historic Baltimore neighborhood captive.
Schedule
We meet that morning at 10:00am on Broadway Square for a brief orientation and how-to presentation. After a Q&A period we roam the Fells Point waterfront and create images of the pirate camp, swashbucklers both young and old, wenches, privateer ships, and more. Our high seas (Arr arr! OK, I mean land-locked) photo adventure ends at approximately 3pm.
Included in this photo safari
The fee covers the four hour-long photography instruction and remarkable photo opportunities. My role as lead instructor is to help you create better images and fill your portfolio, not mine. I do not photograph during this event, I teach.
My goal is to help you develop a set of skills and techniques you can use over your lifetime to create images of which you will be proud. To help reinforce the techniques we cover, I provide participants via email a follow-up professional critique of any 3 images shot during this pirate adventure.
I designed this event photography session for a maximum of 6 participants. A minimum of 3 participants is required.
The fee does not include meals or refreshments.
